President Obama Announces BRAIN Initiative

President Barack Obama unveiled the BRAIN Initiative, a new effort to map the human brain.

Today President Barack Obama unveiled the BRAIN Initiative, a new collaborative effort to map the human brain and better understand how it works. BRAIN stands for Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies. Using new neurotechnology, scientists will be able to understand how activity in specific cells in the brain affect behavior.
