What were your parents thinking?
[laughing] [upbeat rock music] - You know, it just suddenly became a dream.
- I was game, you know, why not?
Do something wild.
- This was an opportunity to run away.
- [Interpreter] My nerves are short circuited.
- Multiple sclerosis is the young people's disease.
It's yours and mine.
- Kind of thought he was crazy.
Very passionate.
- Cool and humble, talking about riding for a cause.
- It came at a time in my life that I just needed something.
- Didn't know anybody on this trip.
- Whoa.
- I had bruises on my ass.
- I remember the first few days being very difficult.
- And it went like this.
- With semis flying by you.
- Is this the way it's gonna be?
- It sucked.
- But you start to find your groove.
- A lot of emotional weight.
- [Narrator] Talking to the spokesman about this ride, this ride changed us.
- We have endurance that we don't even know about because we did that.
- [Narrator] And then we entered the Mojave Desert.
[epic tones] [swooshing sound]
