The community of Hanford gathered to celebrate Naomi Tagawa’s 99th birthday.

February 23, 2019 was Naomi Tagawa Day in the city of Hanford. Family and friends gathered at the First Presbyterian Church to celebrate Naomi’s 99th birthday. Naomi ran the Kings Hand Laundry at 214 N. Green St. The building has been in her family since 1916. The church and China Alley Preservation Society are hoping to raise enough money to restore the building by Naomi’s 100th birthday.
