Fifteen men were released into the custody of ICE a week ahead early

Families of immigration detainees are expressing their frustration after their loved ones were removed from Bergen County jail without warning. Fifteen men were released into Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody a week ahead of a deadline. Bergen County is one of several New Jersey counties ending contracts with ICE, leading to detainees being sent out of state.
