Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya joins the program.

In his attack on Ukraine, Putin is relying heavily on his neighbor, Belarusian strongman Alexander Lukashenko, using the country to base Russian troops. Before Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, Lukashenko was known as Europe’s last dictator, and a referendum this Sunday could further cement his grip on power – it could keep him in office until 2035 and move his country even closer to Putin.
