It's a J/36 from 1982.
It's seen some action as you can tell.
But she's sleek and she's fast.
The Wednesday Night Races run from May until the second week of September, and it's divided into three different series: spring, summer and fall.
With that boat, Ed has such a whole look.
He does, he's got to have his hat on though.
CHRIS: So there's a lot of boats, but we're all divided into four like four different classes.
And we're in A Class which is supposedly the fastest.
[music swells] [music continues to rise] And then we're gonna jibe and then we're going to come the course.
So we're going to trim in the first- How this is going to work: tack, tack, pull up.
Alright, ease the traveller down an inch.
We got to build some speed here.
Hold course.
Hold course.
Hold course.
Get your telltales flying, okay?
Woah, not that much.
[tense music] The crew is wonderful.
This is all about going out with your crew, having fun.
Having fun competition with other members of the club and then we get together afterwards and we socialize, and it's all good fun.
No, I think it was a great race.
