I am Cherokee, Seneca, Cayuga, Comanche.
I'm a filmmaker and creator.
And I live in SeaTac, Washington I ended up here after moving around a lot, since my mom's in academia.
I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
And then moved to Michigan.
Moved to Alaska, I moved to Hawai'i.
And now, boom, I'm here.
I feel like my art revolves around storytelling.
And being as truthful, and honest as possible with those stories.
I started off in filmmaking, of course writing, and my art has expanded into a plethora of different mediums.
3d modeling.
Comics.
Audio design.
VR pieces.
Whatever medium the story wants to take, I follow its lead.
Being trans and being two-spirit has given me an incredible perspective.
To come out and be myself has really pushed me to keep going and do what I want as an artist.
And why not.
Art and the interaction that we have around art have been an incredible unifier, simply in being able to understand another person.
It's such a powerful method of release, and of care for one's self.
Just be yourself, let it out.
It's how we guide our own futures.
To the ancestors of this land, these waters, where so much strength is exchanged, uplifted between relatives from across turtle island.
We care for each other.
Reach out to each other.
And love each other enough to uphold each other to our highest selves.
As we always have.
As we always are.
Always will be.
