>> MARTY: It's Obvious that "Obvious" IS the word!
Obvious means- "easily seen".
>> MARY: Let's try to say it together.

When we make the O sound, our mouth is open wide and the jaw is pretty low.
When you make any vowel sound, your voice box is on!
>> DUSTY: and vowels are -- What I use when I get out of the bath.
>> DOTT: Those are towels, Dusty.
A VOWEL is a sound you make where the mouth is open, and your lips, teeth or tongue don't hold them back • >> DUSTY: Oof!
Those Vowels are busy sounds!
>> DOTT: Yes they are!

Let's take our markers close to the top where our moon will be.
From there we'll go in a COUNTER CLOCKWISE circle.

"counter" means opposite direction.
So if the hands on a clock move this way.
>> DOTT: Then the opposite direction is to the left.
That's why we call this COUNTER- clockwise, See here Dust?

It looks like the moon we drew!
>> DOTT: Right- except this moon makes the O sound- can you hear it?
>> DUSTY: Did you hear that?!

The O sound will be in the first, second, or even a third square.
Here we go The first word is on.

Let's try a word with three sounds so we will need three squares.

After a few rounds, Alphabott will be fully charged.

Let's add a sound to the beginning to make the word pop.
How would we do that??
>> DUSTY: Add a p -- >> DOTT: Yes!

Now transform 'pop' into MOP.'
>> DUSTY: Mop.
We have to change the first sound to m. >> DOTT: MOP!
Very good.
Now transform mop into MOM >> DUSTY: Mom.
The last sound has to be transformed Dott!
Can you put another 'm' in there, Dott?
>> DOTT: Let's see!

You transformed all of those words by just changing one sound!
