Drumroll please -- Today's word is -- >> MARTY: Jealous.
>> MARY: Let's try to say it together.
"Jealous" on three.
1,2,3 >> ALL: "Jealous"!
>> MARTY: Jealous means "to want something that someone else has".
It's a big emotion everyone gets sometimes.
>> MARY: Hey Marty -- Why do YOU get to tell them what Jealous means -- I want to tell them first!
>> MARTY: Now Mary -- No need to be jealous.
>> MARY: Jealous!
I'm not jealous!
I just want something you have.
Does THAT make me "jealous"?

Today you're going to help Dusty earn the J consonant badge"!
>> DUSTY: Just what I wanted for my birthday!
>> DOTT: It's not your birthday -- >> DUSTY: Well, It can be an EARLY birthday gift -- >> DOTT: You have to earn the badge Dust.

Let's explore the sound J makes a little more.
AB- show us what our mouth does when we make the J sound.
When we make the J sound, our tongue touches the bumpy part on the roof of our mouth which is right behind our teeth.
When it's there, it blocks the air as we push it out of our mouth, causing friction.
J >> DUSTY: J Oh I feel it!
>> DOTT: I'll say the J sound three times, when I point towards you, it's your turn!
Here we go.
JJJ >> DUSTY: J, J, J >> DOTT: And THAT's Alphabott's sound of the day!

Welcome to the jungle, also known as my junk covered room.
Let's sort this pile of junk.
Today, let's set aside the things with the J sound somewhere in their name.
Remember, J as in "jump" >> JUNK: Dusty -- Join Me -- Together we can rule the galaxy!

>> DUSTY: "jet", jet.

Yes!
The first sound in jet is j!
Ok you're clear for landing!

>> DUSTY: Cheese!

Nope!
It's stinky cheese anyway.
Yuck.

Yeah, I hear it!

Yeah!
Thank goodness- that badger was starting to eat my pillow!

>> DOTT: Hi AB, hi Ziggy, what are you drawing today?
>> ZIGGY: Can't you see it in the movement?

>> DUSTY: Can we help you draw the tentacles?
>> ZIGGY: I was hoping you would!
Can you help finish this jellyfish?
>> DOTT: Great!
Let's take our marker and put it at the top of the tentacle.
Vertical line down.
With a curved hook the left.
Let's fill in the rest, alright!
Curved hook down and back up to the left.
And voila we're finished!
>> ZIGGY: Oooooh Very Jelly!
My favorite one yet!
>> DUSTY: You say that about all of your paintings!
>> ZIGGY: I mean it every time!
I have to rinse out my brushes.

>> DOTT: That jellyfish moon made me think of the symbol that makes the J sound- it's called the letter J.

As in, my New Alphabadge J?
>> DOTT: That's right Dusty- let's look a little closer at the letter J. Alphabott- switch into learning mode please.
Alright reading buddies- time to take out your magic paintbrush.
Now I know I put mine around here somewhere- Oh!

>> DUSTY: Now THAT's a good hiding place!

>> DOTT: Let's start at the dotted line, follow the hook ending below the bottom line and up to the left -- Looking familiar to anyone?
>> DUSTY: Never seen that before in my life- HEY WAIT a minute!
It looks like the jellyfish's tentacles!
>> DOTT: Right- now lift your paintbrush up and add a dot on top!
