We've empowered Indigenous youth for 32 years through performing arts, fostering confidence and cultural pride.
We offer educational experiences through theater, films and more, with all of our work grounded in culture.
[speaking] In an urban area like Seattle, we have a very rich inner tribal and multicultural mix among our youth.
[speaking] You know, for a lot of our our native youth, the chance to see people like themselves in specific roles has been very limited over time, if at all.
So what our program does is it really does open up the possibilities for them.
We have youth that come in just so quiet, like some of them can barely say their names.
It's really amazing to see that transformation process in them.
Our youth always have a lot to say.
Sometimes they just need the encouragement and the platform Our big achievement?
A new theater space at King Street station in the heart of Seattle, thanks to a collective effort.
We're going to have generations of youth that will come through that space and be able to come back to that space as their creative home.
