Ucf's Reed Shepherd will not be sticking around for the Mark Pope era.
Kentucky is home.
Kentucky will always be home.
However, there is another part of my dream to play basketball in the NBA.
Shepherd was a fan favorite.
The Laurel County native was named Mr. Kentucky Basketball in 2023.
This season, he averaged 12.5 points a game with three point percentage of 52%.
He's heading to the NBA.
