Twenty-six eastern indigo snakes are released back into the wilds.
We take you to the largest release of indigo snakes in five years by a special reintroduction program. On April 26, 2022, The Nature Conservancy in Florida and its partners released 26 eastern indigo snakes at the Apalachicola Bluffs and Ravines Preserve. Starting in 2017, this was the sixth release at this site, with a total of 107 snakes having been released. http;//wfsu.org/ecologyblog
