Hospitals in Haiti are being overwhelmed by survivors of last weekend’s 7.2 magnitude earthquake. The death toll is now nearly 2,000. Another nearly 10,000 Haitians are injured. That toll is expected to rise with many people missing. Search and rescue efforts are being put on hold due to heavy rains and wind sweeping through the country causing mudslides and blocking access to roads.
