SHE FOUNDED CUBA THEATER, A WELL-KNOWN THEATER COMPANY THAT WAS PART OF THE BLACK ARTS MOVEMENT IN CHICAGO.
WE CAUGHT UP WITH HER SON TO TALK ABOUT HER LEGACY AHEAD OF THAT EVENT.
