I'm Katelyn Brinza, and this is Live from Studio A, and I'm joined in the studio with Rich Mattson and the North Stars.

Hello.

Thanks for having us.

When it comes to recording this album, wake up songs, it took about two years.

How much of that was more so the songwriting part of it and how much was getting everybody into the space?

I think the hardest part is it's just getting the mix right.

The part where everybody's there and we're all playing together, that's fun and time flies.

It doesn't seem like time goes by at all.

Having Chris living nearby too, if we get him over to to jam and record pretty often You start writing songs, they come out pretty quick.

He'll, you know, I'll get a text.

And they just start going and you can feel and and, yeah, it works out.
