Report: Climate Change is Turning Back Earth’s Clock
Clip: Season 1700 Episode 1724 | 4m 54sVideo has Closed Captions
Kevin Burke discusses his new report comparing climate change to prehistoric temperatures.
According to a new report from UW-Madison’s Nelson Institute, climate change may be causing the earth to ‘turn back the clock’ to a warmer pre-human stage. One of the report’s authors, Kevin Burke, discusses what that might look like. He draws an analogy to the Pliocene epoch, saying the earth is on track to raise its average temperature 2-4 degrees Celsius.
