Ruby was a shelter dog who became an elite member of the Rhode Island State Police K-9 Unit. She received a reprieve from death row—going from underdog to top dog. Before Ruby’s recent death, Pamela Watts met the canine and her partner, Corporal Dan O’Neil, who are now the subject of popular TV movie, “Rescued by Ruby."
