Some restaurants are thriving on take-out-only model during pandemic

New Jersey restaurants slammed hard by inflation, staff shortages and pandemic mandates have been forced to cut back on hours and offer fewer dining options to stay afloat. But a few eateries that fully embraced the take-out-only model not only survived, they've thrived -- especially since omicron discouraged most people from dining indoors.
