Restaurants prepare for plastic bag ban

Restaurants and other food establishments will still be able to use paper bags

New Jersey restaurants will soon have to find alternative ways to package customer items. That’s because the state’s ban on single-use plastic bags and foam containers goes into effect May 4. The law also applies to paper bags at grocery stores. Restaurants and other food establishments will still be able to use paper bags.
