Chicago Public School students head back to classrooms this month.

Chicago Public Schools will require all teachers and staff to get a COVID-19 vaccine this fall, while CPS continues to bargain with the Chicago Teachers Union over coronavirus safety plans. And as COVID-19 cases rise — largely driven by the more contagious delta variant. All as students are set to head back to school at the end of this month.
