We’ve been devastated by a global pandemic that has killed African Americans at a disproportionate rate, and we’re distraught over yet another murder of an unarmed black man by a white police officer. George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis has led to demonstrations across the country, some of which have turned into violent clashes with police. Rev. Wendell Anthony, President, Detroit NAACP, speaks.
