International history.
We zoomed in with our expedition team in New Guinea and announced that we have found Richard Bongs Marge P-38 Airplane, the most famous fighter airplane from World War Two.
I assumed somebody had found it already, and I was just going to track down that documentation that it had been found.
So there was some general location that we knew of.
And then I eventually connected with Justin and found out that, nope, it's nobody's ever officially gone and found it.
And he was gung ho to try it and my jaw just dropped and I couldn't believe it.
I'm very happy to say that Gerry Fechtelkotter came and she is Richard Bongs sister.
She's 99 years old, but she's such a special part of history and this story.
And so I'm really glad that she was here.
I think it's the most important thing the museum's ever done, because this is important for the world.
It brought a piece of history back to life.
