It's the oldest rivalry North Fulton County, it's the Roswell Hornets against the Milton Eagles.

Good evening again welcome I'm John Moore.

Do Bob Houghton sitting this one out.

He'll be with you next week and I've got Fletcher Proctor here for this one.

As we start region play in Region 5 of 6.

A the highest classification of in Georgia and Fletcher, we got two teams that are really mirror.

Of each other both teams use a power running game to get their points.

Across both teams, can go play action with the very town of quarterbacks as well and both teams have the very strong defensive attack that can neutralize the opposition's plan.

Milton comes into and one Roswell one and two, they both beaten Centennial, they both lost Johns Creek.

So again, as we said, they are mirror images will go into greater detail.

The Eagles Nest is we're getting ready for Roswell and Milton and Fletcher.

We talked about this before the game.

How these we said, these two teams are mirror images of each other, it's really lying play that drives them because they have such a vaunted rushing attack.

Well, though it's, you know, Peyton Barbers was, Andrew, clotting, for Roswell, really are talented backs, but they wouldn't be near what they are without that offensive line.

Now, you take a look at Milton may be the best offensive line in the entire State.

They've got three.

BCS offers and a fourth with PCS offers.

Did I mention oh yeah.

He's only a sophomore.

Maybe the most town of the bunch on the flipside Roswell returned for starters from a year ago.

Their fifth starter was it.

God actually converted from defense.

He might be the best of the bunch.

Both of these offensive lines are going to be the key to this game.

Whichever has more success and more push.

We'll win this game.

As we said earlier, Roswell day probably the best Owen 10 team in the state last year where they finally got on the winning ways as they go into a difficult region schedule.

The Milton Eagles Milton won this contest between the two last year on a last-second.

Let's talk about a little bit about Roswell.

They got a good running back.

Ancient patang, he does.

He had 236 yards in the first game against Centennial, he's passed the century mark in each of the games tonight.

The key for him will be his offensive line.

Getting push against Milton's Carl Lawson.

The number five player in the nation according to ESPN, a five-star headed to Auburn.

And by the way, a couple months ago is only the third best player in the state of Georgia.

Can you talk about the components of a proper diet?

For the teenager?

The concept of a healthy diet is pretty simple but it's hard for the kids to implement basically the diet needs to be divided into thirds.

It's carbohydrates, it's proteins and fats and the majority of the athletes diet carbohydrates should represent about two-thirds of their diet.

And then we say carbohydrates, we mean the good carbohydrates.

The, the natural carbohydrates are there or the complex carbohydrates, the brown rice, the the potatoes, the starches, the whole grains fruits and vegetables, things of that sort, Other 25% of the diet, should be protein, not their weight, lifting athletes, or football players are doing a lot of resistance training than, they might need to increase your protein intake, just to just a little bit.

And then a very, very small part of the diet should be fat.

So most of the time, when you taking your protein, your nuts, your peanuts, your meat, you're going to get some of the oils and probably have plenty of fatty acids in the, in the diet.

I told these athletes that your their diet plan should look like a peace sign cut in thirds.

It 1/3 should be from sources of meat.

Once third should be sources from fruits and vegetables and 1/3 It'd be sources from a from from plant to plant Foods.

Tell them when you're when you're picking Foods try to try to shop on the periphery of the grocery store.

Where you going to find the natural stuff.

A good food is something that was either found in the ground on a plant or from a tree.

Or it's something that once ran swam or flu, that's kind of a good way to think of of healthy foods.

So we're going to begin our interviews with the principle of Roswell.

High School principal jiron Hub.

How are you doing?

I'm doing great, especially with the score tied 2121.

So why don't you tell everybody about Roswell High School?

I'll be happy to but can I give a shout-out to my brother Harold, scribbling in Washington Georgia?

How you doing Harold promise you, I do it but Roswell High School.

What can I say?

We have 23.

100 kids.

We have a community that is bursting with pride, as you can tell from the game both on the militant and the Roswell side, deep tradition, both in academics Athletics just real proud about kids, real proud about kids.

Well you mentioned about community and the stands on your side are quite build.

So how important is the community as far as helping us except a high school?

Be successful?

Well, I tell you, I've had the pleasure of being Elementary, principal Middle School, principal now has two principal in Roswell.

And it takes our community is to teachers is to The custodians cafeteria workers, the media specialist everyone and I think what makes roswell's to a specialist for years it has been that way everyone is a part of the community.

Everyone wants to come back and give to the community churches businesses.

So very fortunate to be at Roswell High School so can you tell everybody probably something interesting about Roswell the we don't know.

Wow wow wow.

Well I'm going to tell him myself.

I think I may be one of the few dancing principles that maybe when there's a dance with there's an electric All the Cuban Shuffle.

I'm right there.

Okay.

So we're going to see that, right?

You go see it and as an educator.

Where do you want to take Roswell High School?

Well, we've always been assumed of Excellence when it comes to AP scores.

When it comes to SAT scores ACT scores but we have we have some kids who are struggling and one thing that we have committed to do this year is to make sure we're helping our ninth graders because it starts in the 9th grade.

We want to make sure we lift up those kids and that's where the community is coming.

And they're already showing us that they want to help these knives words.

Be successful and also make sure they graduate on time.

Can you tell everybody About Tonight Show?

Sure.

Tonight's show is called No Strings Attached.

It's the story of a mannequin starting off, being controlled, and then going from control to freedom to pure joy and happiness of being free.

So what type of festivals you guys have coming up, actually a three competitions coming up very soon.

In this next Saturday, the 29th, we're going to our Meucci and Rome Georgia to compete as well as a local contest, October 6 at Chattahoochee, high school and the Noonan on November 3rd.

And what are some awards that Roswell High School is known for Roswell?

High School has a long tradition of very fine.

Bam programs, Orchestra, programs course all the Fine Arts are very well.

Represented, the band wrote the band's has been straight superiors place in their class.

The Drumline is a championship Drumline.

The color guard is a championship Color Guard.

The bands are Contacts with all state ban players District Band players, they're just great kids.

Can you talk about the components of a proper diet?

For the teenager in the concept of a healthy diet is pretty simple but it's hard for the kids to implement basically the diet needs to be divided into thirds.

It's carbohydrates, it's proteins and fats and the majority of the athletes.

Diet carbohydrates should represent about 2/3 of their diet.

And then we say carbohydrates, we mean the good carbohydrates, the, the natural carbohydrates are there or the Lex carbohydrates, the brown rice, the the potatoes, the starches, the whole grains fruits, and vegetables, things of that sort.

Another 25% of the diet should be protein, not their weight, lifting athletes, or football players are doing a lot of resistance training than, they might need to increase your protein intake.

Just just a little bit.

And then a very, very small part of the diet should be fats.

Most of the time, when you taking your protein, your nuts, your peanuts, your meat, you're going to get some of the oils and probably have plenty of fatty acids in the, in the diet, I told these athletes that your their diet plan should look like Like a peace sign, cut it in thirds, you 1/3 should be from sources of meat.

1/3 should be sources from fruits and vegetables and 1/3 should be sources from a from from plant to plant Foods.

Tell them when you're when you're picking Foods, try to try to shop on the periphery of the grocery store.

Where you going to find the natural stuff.

A good food is something that was either found in the ground on a plant or from a tree.

Or it's something that once ran swam or flu, that's kind of a good way to think of of healthy foods.

Tonight's show is called wired and is hiki.

No here behind me on the TV see it's got a lot of electronic sound effects.

It's high energy.

Really showcases the wonderful Milton percussion section and offers a crowd of really fun show at halftime.

So what events do you guys have coming up any festivals?

We're going to go to three different festivals the So which is actually going to be next week in here at Milton High School.

We're going to be hosting the annual white columns marching band competition which is going to feature 15 groups around the state.

And then we're going to go to Creek View High School for a competition on the 27th.

And then Noonan high school for a competition on November, the 3rd, which will and our competitive season.

I want to get back to your showroom.

Is there any like can you tell us about the song selections on the formation to let?

Yeah, it's a it's a unique choice of Music.

We pulled a lot of music from the modern rock group Muse.

They have their latest album had some instrumental music that really We worked with the marching bands, we borrowed some of that.

And then the other selection were playing has a kind of an interesting name.

It's called asphalt cocktail and it's a piece written actually for concert band that has a lot of percussion and really fun parts for the kids.

So they've been enjoying it this year.

And like I said, the show's called wired and it's everything.

Electronic.

So we're really having a good time with the shoe.

What awards?

That is Milton.

High School, marching band is known for On the last couple of years, they've had a lot of success, not only a marching band competitions, but also during the winter months, the Milton indoor drum line, which is the drum line that you see the field behind us here.

Actually, competes in gymnasiums throughout the country in the winter months.

When it's too cold to be outside and they place in the top 12 in the country and World Championships in Dayton last year.

And the color guard, as you can see, the flags of behind us here.

They actually were the fan favorite for the local Sable, Color Guard circuit, this past year, for their Championship.

So, the bands really Held in all areas and were really happy with how things are going this year.

It sounds great woman to give you good luck for the rest of the book, the season because you know, football season is definitely band season.

But you guys work just as hard as football team and we want to shed some light on the marching band.

I actually thought if either team was going to go to the Airborne would be Milton opposed to Roswell, but Roswell is gone to the air with some serious success.

And you know we've seen Carl Lawson, you know, be a tough act to handle, but at the same time They've completed a lot of passes early on when he's not necessarily coming after them, is that could be the key in the second after Roswell to stay, where it's passing or run.

Instead of just into just passing situations.

Well, Roswell has done an excellent job of using the run to set up the using the pass to set up the Run.

They've done an excellent job of that.

So, I think what they really need to do now is roster for Milton anyway, they need to tighten up their line, play, try to hold, try to stop that.

Combination that roswell's got going that these very effectively in the first half of the use the Deep ball.
