Rufus Edmisten worked with Sam Ervin during Watergate, returned to NC to serve as the state's 46th Attorney General, made an unsuccessful gubernatorial run, & later became the 21st Secretary of State in North Carolina. Outside of politics, Rufus is involved with several charitable organizations helping disadvantaged children, & occasionally appears on a radio show about gardening.
