The Montana state Senate has passed a bill which would ban abortion after 24 weeks, regardless of the health of the mother and require doctors to deliver the fetus and try to save it. Opponents say it could be among the most extreme anti-abortion laws in the U.S. Meanwhile, Montana Sen. Steve Daines (R) is pushing his bill to defund Planned Parenthood at the federal level.
