Around one-third of all land in Montana is public and our state is known for the abundant opportunities to hunt, fish, hike, camp and recreate outdoors. This session Republicans are touting a package of bills they say will improve public access. But Democrats point to other GOP-backed proposals that they worry could limit opportunities for people to get outdoors.
