University of Michigan students perform 'The Great Gate of Kyiv' for Ukraine Benefit Show

After reading gruesome news headlines of the Russia-Ukraine war overseas, inspiration to foster hope and find a way to help them out struck for University of Michigan masters student and saxophonist Valentin Kovalev. In a sign of solidarity, Kovalev came together with Ukrainian pianist Alexander Polyakov to perform one composer Modest Mussorgsky's "The Great Gate of Kyiv."
