There are 600 homeless individuals in Fulton, Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford Counties. The Heart of Illinois Homeless Continuum of Care coordinates services for homeless individuals through various agencies. Representatives of two of those agencies, The Salvation Army and The Dream Center, discuss their programs. A homeless person who uses The Salvation Army’s Safety Net program is on the show.
