Award-winning filmmaker Leya Hale traces the traditions underlying the dress-making culture of Lakota and Dakota communities in this new Pioneer PBSdocumentary. Tanner Peterson, a member of the Upper Sioux Community, is the videographer and production assistant. This program was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
