"Breaking Barriers Through Education" was the theme of the Black History Month program.

"Breaking Barriers Through Education" was the theme of the first-ever Black History Month program from the state's Department of Education. Students from schools across the state focused on how education has played a major role in the achievements of successful black Americans.
