New body camera law could come with a hefty price tag

To help build trust and more transparency during an encounter with police, Gov. Phil Murphy this week signed legislation mandating all New Jersey police officers wear body cameras, making us just one of roughly six in the nation with the requirement, part of what the administration hopes will usher in a new culture of policing. But will departments have the money to pay for it?
