Clip: Season 5 Episode 7 | 6m 29sVideo has Closed Captions

Explore the effort to restore and preserve Apalachicola’s historic public squares.

WFSU's Mike Plummer talks with some Franklin county residents working to restore and protect the public squares that are part of Apalachicola’s original 1837 plat. The waterfront town’s original plan is based on historic Philadelphia’s design, with 6 public squares. You would be hard pressed to recognize them today, but these preservationists are hoping to change that.
