The Spotted Lanternfly is an invasive species recently spotted in New Jersey. The state Department of Agriculture has quarantined three counties in the hopes of preventing the insect's spread. Without action, the Lanternfly has the potential to wreak havoc on New Jersey's fruit and wine industries.
