School funding shrinks even in best of economic times

A new report finds more schools in high poverty areas are receiving fewer state dollars.

Like everything else, school funding is feeling the impact of the pandemic. Without emergency help from the federal government, the report's authors say waiting for better economic times will be too late for thousands of kids across New Jersey.
