School Justice Partnership

Preview: 12/11/2020 | 20s

The School Justice Partnership helps reduce misbehavior and ease strain on courts.

School suspensions, expulsions, and referrals to the courts, negatively impact both students and their communities. Students of color and students with disabilities are disproportionately impacted by these practices. New Hanover County implemented a School Justice Partnership (SJP) in November 2015 that is designed to both reduce misbehavior and ease strain on court agencies.
