Gov. Murphy says removal of school-mask mandate will depend on upping vaccination rates
Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is currently allowed for children ages 5 to 15 under an emergency use authorization. However, vaccination of younger children has been slow in New Jersey. Gov. Phil Murphy says that if enough get their shots, the state could consider lifting the in-school mask mandate.
