Don't hold yourself back with a thought that you can't do it.
Just try get out a rough first draft of whatever you're writing, whether it be a short story, a poem, a screenplay, just try it I'm Kelly Florence and I'm Meg Hafdahl.
And together with the coauthors of the bestselling The Science of Horror Book series.
I teach full time at Lake Superior College and then write in my spare time with my best friend.
Yeah, I actually do write full time because I'm also a fiction author, so I write novels and short story collection.
So we met 22 years ago this summer here in Duluth.
Meg was working at a gift shop.
I walked in just browsing.
I was happened to be wearing an X-Files T-shirt and she's a huge fan.
Yeah.
So I was like, Oh, I like this is my person.
So we started talking and we became best friends, and it just made sense to sort of start working together.
We love that we get to represent our hometown of Duluth and be able to show that we can.
We're interviewing people from all over the globe about these scientific concepts, about these films and TV shows, and anybody can do it.
