Gov. Scott Walker is threatening to veto the state budget if Republicans in the legislature do not uphold his pledge to keep property taxes lower than they were in 2010. Walker says he is inspired by people like Tommy Thompson who say you have to stand up for what you believe in. In addition to keeping property taxes low, Walker wants to invest more state funding in the public school system.
