U.S. Supreme Court seems poised to overturn Roe v. Wade

Mississippi’s solicitor general argued that the decision should be left to the states.

With the right to choose an abortion hanging in the balance, emotional protesters rallied outside the nation’s highest court, as justices inside sharply questioned solicitors today. After two hours of contentious argument, analysts believe the court’s new conservative majority could possibly be ready to overturn Roe v. Wade entirely, precipitating a seismic shift in America’s cultural landscape.
