Marcia Franklin continues her conversation with historian Nathaniel Philbrick, focusing on his themes, writing style and methods. Philbrick is the author most recently of Bunker Hill: A City, a Siege, a Revolution. Another book, In the Heart of the Sea, won the National Book Award, and is being made into a feature film by Ron Howard. His book, Mayflower, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
