For decades, the nation’s oldest manufacturer of fire trucks and other equipment was housed in a huge building on south High Street. But after the company moved to Clintonville, Wisconsin(!), Fortner, a fourth-generation Columbus upholstery firm, has worked to make this historic space its own.
