This is Helene Madison, Olympic royalty.
Three gold medals in the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
And you guys, she trained right here.

Believe it or not, the pool is upstairs.
On the sixth floor of a skyscraper downtown is a swimming pool.
And this is where Helene Madison swam her way into the record books.
Let me tell you something.
That record collection is stacked.
Each one of these is a world record.
If Hollywood hadn't come calling, who knows how many more she would have set?

Basically a sports museum with a top tier lunch menu.

The gym is the heart of the Washington Athletic Club.
This is where history meets hustle.
Basketball has been big here for decades.
Both men's and women's teams have racked up titles, youth camps, and even some ex NBA players run these courts.
And it's not just about hoops.
Pickleball is an up and coming sport lots of people love.
Now we can't talk about Seattle sports without mentioning th...
The 1936 University of Washington men's rowing team.
You know, the boys in the boat.
Picture this.
Champagne toasts, cigars being lit.
Even before their Olympic gold medal win, the boys in the boat were celebrated in rooms a lot like this.
The WAC has a long history of supporting and celebrating champions.
And just when you thought the WAC couldn't get any cooler, boom.
This view.
This is the skyscraper of sports.
Back in the day, this was Seattle's third tallest building.
And to this day, it's got one of the best views in town.
