Different people have a range of reactions to the second shot of both mRNA vaccines.

Many people report some unexpectedly intense reactions to their second dose of Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines, including extremely sore arms, whole body aches, fever and chills. Doctors advise taking some special precautions before getting the second shot, like scheduling a day off from work or getting it before the weekend.
