Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipWe are in the entryway of Marshall School and we are having our fine art showcase, which is a big art show with music and performances throughout the evening.
And it's basically open house.
So all the artwork on display from K through 12 and families are invited to come and see what kids have been doing all year long.
It happens every year.
The younger students really are excited.
We get them hyped up and then they come and see their work on display and then as they go through the upper school spaces where they haven't had the opportunity to really explore, they get to see where their future years are going to be spent art wise.
No kid has the same project as someone else, and that's what's really powerful about art is expression of who you are as an individual.
I love that personal connection with each of my students and I love to see how they grow throughout the years, and that really gets expressed in their art.
