Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and his wife, Kelley, supporting an amendment to the Kentucky lantern reports one man is responsible for this ad.
Jeff has a Pennsylvania billionaire and longtime Republican donor.
The ad is from a political action committee called Protect Freedom.
A report from the Federal Election Commission shows that the PAC received $5 million in donations from July through September and that more than 99% of the money came from Jeff Yass.
Senator Paul says he prefers former President Donald Trump to Vice President Kamala Harris and next month's presidential election.
But he says he disagrees with Trump on some things, including Trump's plan to impose new tariffs on all imported goods.
Here's Senator Paul on that Tuesday in Bowling Green.
As we get closer to the election and as it comes up without question, I want our own to win.
I want Donald Trump to be Harris.
But if you follow me, I haven't been that enthusiastic out there campaigning because there's some things I don't like and there are things we all agree on.
I think international trade is good for us.
I think international trade makes us rich as we became international traders in every country that we're involved with, international trade became phenomenally rich.
That's who we are.
And so I don't want tariffs.
I don't think tariffs are a good idea.
I don't think that protectionism will be a good thing for us.
And I think it will simply be a tax.
So there will be things that we will disagree with.
But without question.
But I'm looking between the two.
Without question.
I think what we have to do is we have to go out and vote for Donald Trump.
We have to elect Republicans and we have to preserve what made this country great.
Thank you very much.
Senator Paul, who lives in Bowling Green, spoke during the Warren County Republican Party's Lincoln Dinner on Tuesday night.
