If Senate Bill 54 becomes law, state Senator Jarrett Carpenter says everyone would benefit.
Students would get scholarship money, and Kentucky would get more workers in fields that are often short of workers.
Many of us know during COVID how important these these ideas and these these workforces were.
Many of us waited many days to get our products delivered because of the lack of CDL drivers in one of these areas.
And transportation is that there are many institutions of these proprietary schools in Kentucky that offer kdl classes.
And as we know, we want to get people to work.
And I talk about it with my universities in district about making sure we provide educational opportunities where the jobs are there and they can make good, good careers and good money.
The Senate approved the measure sitting in on over to the House for consideration by the lower chamber.
