A new Crosscut/Elway poll shows many Seattle voters are undecided about mayoral and city council candidates, but of those who've made up their minds, the more moderate candidates hold an edge.
According to the poll, 42% of likely voters surveyed said they plan to vote for Bruce Harrell for mayor, while 27% plan to vote for current council president, Loraina Gonzalez.
Nearly a quarter are undecided.
Homelessness is still a voter's top priority by a wide margin, which has been the case in Seattle for years now.
While support for hiring more police officers remains solid.
Incumbent city council member Theresa Muskata is the one progressive in four citywide contests, who is currently in front of her opponent.
Leading the race for one of two open seats on the council with 33% support.
Again, nearly 40% of voters said they were still undecided.
