The San Antonio Museum of Art is hosting the exhibition Heaven and Hell: Salvation and Retribution in Pure Land Buddhism. The show is the first to explore Buddhism throughout Asia, as it relates to salvation in the afterlife. There are 70 objects, from painting in the anime style, to sculptures that date back to 200 A.D.
