#### A Fayette County student has died of COVID.
The Lexington Herald-Leader says 15-year-old Christopher Gordon Junior is the first Fayette County student to die of the virus.
Kentucky 120 United - an education advocacy group -- says 45 school staff members, statewide, have died of COVID.
#### Kentucky has more than 39-hundred new COVID cases, and 26 deaths.
The positivity rate is just under 11 percent.
#### Kentucky State University will need financial help by next spring, in order to stay solvent.
That's according to chief financial officer Greg Rush, who testified today before a legislative committee.
Senator Chris McDaniel, chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, wondered if it makes financial sense to keep KSU open.
