This short film evokes the humanity of the man, Tom Lee, hero of the M.E. Norman disaster of 1925.

When the riverboat M.E. Norman capsized on May 8, 1925, Tom Lee was the first on the scene, saving the lives of 32 people in his small motorboat, becoming a national hero in the process.  Lee's humanity and reality is the subject of this short film (directed by Matteo Servente; written by Amanzi Arnett Dowdy). Produced by Last Bite Films.
